Yorkdale Mall in Toronto, Canada is going viral with their take on the Jolly Man in Red and Fashion Santa is making appearances in the name of charity.
Professional model Paul Mason portrays the Christmas Icon with a 21st-century twist. Yes, Santa’s down with the times, and he’s looking good doing it. Fit and slim, it must be a pretty good workout making all those toys. We’re taking a guess he’ll probably pass on the milk and cookies this year, so you might want to consider leaving a kale smoothie instead.
Fashion Santa had a wardrobe makeover as well. He’s going for the hipster look; sporting high-end men’s wear that can be found for purchase at the Yorkdale Mall and checking his iPhone for texts from his elves, probably, or maybe posting selfies with the hashtag #YorkdaleFashionSanta.
For every selfie posted with Fashion Santa and the hashtag #YorkdaleFashionSanta, Yorkdale will donate a $1 to Sick Kids Foundation, up to $10,000. He’s all about giving, which isn’t anything new, after all, he’s been at it for hundreds of years, but now he’s letting everyone in on the action. If you’re in the Toronto area, be sure to visit him at the Yorkdale mall. Details can be found here. It’s just too bad you can’t sit on his lap.
“I don’t always take selfies, but when I do, I look damn good!”
